
WHY COUNSELLING?
Counselling allows you to discuss problems and difficulties in a confidential environment.

I specialise in working with people who have experienced trauma, as well as people involved with the criminal justice system.

Different people need different types of support at different times. By working together, we can tailor the type of therapy to suit you as an individual.
Types of Therapy
​Depending on what has brought you to therapy and your preferences, one or a combination of these therapies can be used.

I also offer the Compassion Focused Risk Aware programme (COFRA 121). COFRA is a one-to-one programme that lasts 16 weeks, each session is 90 minutes long.

A ground floor accessible room can be booked if required. An accessible toilet is available and there is free parking.

Introductory Session
We can meet online or over the phone to see whether you think we might be a good fit. We can go through the confidentiality agreement, you can ask any questions and we can discuss what you'd like to get out of therapy.

PRIVACY POLICY
Your name, contact details and availability will be collected when you initially contact Marina Therapy.

Your personal information will only be used in accordance with the provision of therapy. Your personal details will not be shared with any other person or organisation without your knowledge or permission, unless there is a legal requirement or safeguarding issue.
Brief anonymised notes will be taken after a session solely for therapeutic purposes. Handwritten information will be stored securely, and electronic data will be password protected.

All records will be kept for a minimum of 5 years in accordance with insurance requirements and then securely destroyed.
